Painting is a reflection of artist's trip to Keukenhof a couple of years ago when she visited the famous and magnificent tulip gardens in Lisse, Netherlands. "Flaming Flag" has been painted from a photograph that artist took of this beautiful white and purple striped tulip variety.

This extra black background together with the curvy and delicate flower blossoms gives a sophisticated and dynamic feeling.
